Vibrant Nexus of Art, Industry, and Innovation

Africa Prosperity Network’s dedication to showcasing Africa is represented in the exhibition exploring Africa’s evolving identity by showcasing its cultural heritage and economic progress under themes of agriculture, technology, industrialisation, and the arts through displays celebrating resilience, creativity, and innovation.

About

Projet Afrique is an exhibition designed to showcase African innovation, creativity and enterprise within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). It will form an integral part of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026, taking place from 4 to 6 February 2026 at the Accra International Conference Centre. The exhibition will celebrate African ingenuity and expertise across four key sectors: Creative Arts, Engineering and Technology, Agriculture, and the Automobile Industry, providing a vivid demonstration of Africa’s potential in driving the world’s largest single market.

Curated under the APD 2026 theme, “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.”, Projet Afrique seeks to highlight the central role of these groups in shaping Africa’s economic transformation. Women, youth and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) together represent the backbone of the continent’s economy, accounting for most of its labour force, job creation and innovation. Yet, their participation in cross-border trade remains limited by structural and financial constraints. The exhibition will therefore offer them a platform to display their products, innovations and business models to investors, policymakers and consumers from across Africa and beyond.

Creative Arts

Curated under the APD 2026 theme, “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.”, the Creative Arts showcase celebrates Africa’s cultural vitality by bringing together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression.

From textiles and design to visual and cultural works shaped by women, youth and SMEs, this section demonstrates how creativity fuels identity, enterprise and export potential within the AfCFTA. It highlights the continent’s growing creative economy as a powerful contributor to economic transformation, job creation and global influence.

Agriculture

Reflecting the sector’s centrality to livelihoods and economic growth, the Agriculture section highlights modern, sustainable and competitive agribusiness practices. Exhibitors will feature innovations in agro-processing, climate-smart farming, mechanisation and value-addition, underscoring agriculture’s role in strengthening food security and expanding intra-African trade.

By elevating women and youth-led ventures, this section illustrates how inclusive agribusiness drives resilience and prosperity across the continent.

Engineering and Technology

Dedicated to Africa’s rapidly evolving innovation ecosystem, the Engineering and Technology section presents forward-looking solutions developed by young entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.

Exhibitors will demonstrate advances in artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energy and digital applications that are repositioning Africa in the global knowledge economy. This space captures the ingenuity driving the continent’s technological leap, showcasing how homegrown innovation is expanding opportunities across borders.

Automobile Industry

The Automobile Industry section underscores Africa’s emergence in advanced manufacturing and mobility innovation. Exhibitors will feature developments in vehicle design, assembly, electric and hybrid technologies, and components tailored to African markets.

This space demonstrates the continent’s growing capacity to shape the future of transportation while creating new industrial pathways for youth, SMEs and local supply chains. It stands as a testament to Africa’s commitment to technological excellence and sustainable mobility.
